Makieu Daniels is a junior expert for organizational development and training. She works with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) team on devising and conducting consultancy projects, workshops and trainings on DEI, as well as advising on diversity strategies in companies and organizations.
Makieu Daniels completed her Bachelor studies in Intercultural Relations and Behavior in Bremen. As part of her Master’s degree, she studied Cultural and Organizational Anthropology in Hamburg and Copenhagen, focusing on critical diversity and diversity management in corporate contexts. Makieu graduated in 2022 with her thesis on ‘Diversity and Inclusion in International Companies’.
Most recently, Makieu Daniels worked at Ingredion Germany GmbH in Hamburg, where her responsibilities included supporting the implementation of the diversity management strategy in the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region and providing strategic advice to the regional business resource groups as a subject matter expert for DEI.
Makieu Daniels is an intercultural trainer and is committed to promoting queer-feminism, antiracism and diversity sensitivity in the martial arts.
