Lisa Hanstein works as a senior expert at the intersection of diversity and equal opportunity in the digital (working) world. As a trainer, she holds workshops on unconscious thought patterns and diversity. One of her main focuses is on the area of “Bits & Bias”. Here she develops offers and accompanies organizations on the topics of diversity in the IT industry, unconscious thinking patterns in (agile) teamwork and leadership, gender-equitable development and use of digital offers as well as application potentials of IT for more diversity. She also organized two large conferences for EAF Berlin and gives talks for numerous clients.
Lisa Hanstein completed a dual Bachelor’s degree in business informatics with a focus on software engineering at DHBW Mannheim and worked as a software developer at SAP SE for several years after graduating. In 2019, she also completed a second degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and Computer Science at Freie Universität Berlin. Areas of study included Feminist and Labor Anthropology, Science & Technology Studies, and Theoretical Computer Science. She also completed additional training as a diversity trainer (living diversity) in 2021 and as a systemic organizational consultant at Riesner & Braun Consulting in 2022.
During her second degree, Lisa Hanstein developed educational material on IT security and data protection at Deutschland sicher im Netz e.V. As a consultant for the Entwicklungspolitisches Bildungs- und Informationszentrum e.V. (Development Education and Information Center), she designed and ran an educational workshop for children and young people on global learning. In addition, she worked on a research project at the Free University of Berlin on the topic of Big Data in research into emotion.
