Since its foundation, EAF Berlin has been supporting and advising organizations and companies in their change processes towards more diversity. More and more organizations and companies are setting out to become more diverse. For this to succeed, an individual approach is needed, because every organization is different.

Diversity & Inclusion

The topic of diversity and inclusion is large and complex. Many companies and organizations wonder where to start and what specific goals to set. We need to view diversity as a process that must be lived internally. However, this also requires a certain level of commitment and a framework that includes specific goals and KPIs that are both ambitious and realistic. These goals must be communicated, regularly reviewed, and adjusted when necessary. This provides the framework for championing the issue internally and for making diversity an essential part of all our lives.

Diversity as a strategic issue

EAF Berlin advises companies and organizations on this path. In a first step, we encourage their members to approach diversity as a strategic issue and to build up advocates on the board and at the executive level. For this purpose, EAF Berlin develops a business case tailored to each enterprise and offers benchmarking measures and best practices. At the same time, a diversity strategy shouldn’t just be handed down from on high, it should develop in a bottom-up fashion from the requirements of the organization and the needs of its employees.

Participatory approach

EAF Berlin’s approach is always participatory. Through both qualitative and quantitative methods such as expert interviews, focus group workshops and employee surveys, the current status, needs and areas of action for more diversity can be identified. EAF Berlin analyzes this data and, in cooperation with managers develops the appropriate diversity strategy including suitable measures for subsequent years. We record all milestones, responsibilities and resources in the form of a roadmap.
