Leoni Vollmar
Expert for equal opportunities and diversity-sensitive organizational development

Leoni Vollmar’s work focuses on the topics of equal opportunities, gender and pedagogical approaches to organizational development. At EAF Berlin, Leoni Vollmar most recently worked as a junior expert. She accompanied organizations in the participatory development and implementation of their diversity strategies and was active in the practical teaching of diversity competencies (workshops on the theme of unconscious bias), especially in scientific organizations.

As holder of a Germany Scholarship, Leoni Vollmar completed her studies in social and organizational education in Hildesheim. During her studies she was mainly trained in the field of systemic consulting as well as participatory didactics, and she also works on topics around team-based organization and group pedagogy. As a student assistant, she worked for three years in the BMBF-funded joint project InDeKo.Navi on the theme of corporate competence management in demographic change and was a student representative of an accreditation commission for studies and university teaching. In the winter semester 2021/22, she taught the course “Diversity-sensitive organizational development” for BA students at the University of Hildesheim.

Since 2022, Leoni Vollmar has been a research associate at the Department of Organizational Pedagogy at Freie Universität Berlin, focusing on gender and diversity in organizations, and is currently working on her doctorate on social inequality in science careers.
