Dr. Christiane Kasack has been working independently as a coach, trainer and facilitator since 2016, focusing on time- and self-management as well as career counseling. She is particularly active as an advocate for people in science organizations.

Christiane Kasack studied political science in Greifswald, Tampere (Finland) and Hamburg and received her PhD from the FU Berlin in 2011. She is certified as a coach by the Systemic Society (training at isi Berlin) and has completed further training as a career consultant (artop Berlin).

Christiane Kasack has experience in scientific personnel development: at the Hertie School of Governance she was responsible for the PhD program and for the Helmholtz Association she was responsible for redesigning the mentoring program and establishing career development centers for postdocs. In this setting she moderated working group and networking events.
