For equal opportunity officers, challenges are part of the daily routine. As experts in gender and diversity, they bring vital momentum to administrations and municipalities, yet they are often held back when it comes to equality and the advancement of women. It is all the more important to respond to these demands flexibly and persuasively, and to master challenging situations with composure.

Equal opportunity work is challenging—especially when key initiatives for greater equality meet with resistance. These digital resilience circles provide a space for reflection, professional exchange, and personal empowerment.

Resilience Circles for Municipal Equal Opportunity Officers

Resilience refers to the ability to consciously reflect on challenges and crises and to use personal and social resources for one's own development—with the goal of emerging stronger from them.

EAF Director Manuela Möller has teamed up with coach and former mayor Birte Kruse-Gobrecht to design an online program that offers municipal equal opportunity officers a safe space for professional exchange, practical insights, and new strategies—helping them to draw strength even from stressful situations. The resilience circles for equal opportunity officers do exactly that.
