Under no circumstances will the IP address be linked to other data relating to the user. The IP addresses are anonymized so that allocation is not possible (IP masking).
6. Social media plug-ins
On our website, we use social plug-ins from the social networks Meta on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR in order to make our company better known. The underlying advertising purpose is regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR. Responsibility for data protection-compliant operations must be guaranteed by their respective providers. We integrate these plug-ins using the so-called two-click method in order to protect visitors to our website in the best possible way.
a) Meta
Our website uses social media plugins from Meta to make their use more personal. We use the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button for this purpose. This is an offer from Meta.
When you visit a page on our website that contains such a plugin, your browser creates a direct connection to Meta's servers. Meta transmits the content of the plugin directly to your browser and integrates it into the website.
By integrating the plugins, Meta receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a meta account or are not currently logged in to Meta. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted from your browser directly to a Meta server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Meta, Meta can directly associate your visit to our website with your meta account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by pressing the “LIKE” or “SHARE” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Meta server and stored there. The information is also published on Meta and displayed to your Meta friends.
Meta can use this information for the purpose of advertising, market research and demand-oriented design of meta pages. For this purpose, Meta creates usage, interest and relationship profiles, e.g. to evaluate your use of our website with regard to the advertisements shown to you on Meta, to inform other meta users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Meta.
If you do not want Meta to associate the data collected via our website with your Meta account, you must log out of Meta before visiting our website.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Meta as well as your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy can be found in Privacy notices (https://de-de.facebook.com/privacy/policy/) by Meta.
b) Google+ plug-ins
Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from the Google+ social network, which is operated by Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).
To increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, these buttons are not fully integrated into the page as plug-ins, but only using an HTML link. This type of integration ensures that when you visit a page on our website that contains such buttons, no connection is yet established with the Google+ servers. When you click on the button, a new browser window opens and calls up the Google+ page, where you can interact with the plugins there (possibly after entering your login details).
Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the US-European data protection agreement “Privacy Shield”, which ensures compliance with the level of data protection applicable in the EU.
