Survey on violence against female politicians launched

The survey is being conducted as part of the project Recognize, Resist, Rise Up (3R) - Tackling Gender-based Violence against Women in Politics , which aims to highlight and effectively combat violence, hatred, and hostility directed at women in politics. The project is being carried out in collaboration with partner organizations from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ireland. All partner organizations are surveying female members of their respective national parliaments.

The goal is to collect comprehensive, comparable data on experiences with violence, hostility, and threats, as well as, for the first time, information on existing protection and support structures. These findings will form the basis for a comparative European analysis to be developed within the project.
