Call for nominations: The German Mentoring Association is presenting the "Mentor of the Year" 2023 award
Who has demonstrated long-term commitment as a mentor and shown outstanding dedication to their mentees? Who deserves greater visibility as a role model? These impressive mentors can now be honored with the "Mentor of the Year" award. Nominations are being accepted effective immediately. Any individual or organization is eligible to submit a nomination.
A jury consisting of the DGM board will select this year's winners from the submitted nominations. In addition to a proven track record of mentoring, selection criteria include a commitment to diversity within the framework of structured mentoring programs that meet DGM quality standards.
Nominations can be submitted until June 30, 2023, via this form .
The public award ceremony will take place during the DGM's virtual annual conference on September 27, 2023.
More about the DGM
The DGM is the network for mentoring experts from business, government, and society. As an independent organization, it is committed to ensuring quality standards in mentoring and has developed a certification process for this purpose.
The DGM has been recognizing exceptionally dedicated mentors since 2018. Previous winners include:

- Kay Schäfer, Head of Section in Clearing Design at Eurex Clearing AG, Coach and Mentor, Mentor in the Regional Frankfurt Mentoring program and internal mentor at Deutsche Börse
- Dr. Birgit Vemmer, Management Consultant, Member of the Supervisory Board of the CEWE Foundation and Deputy Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Porta Group, Mentor in the CrossMentoring OWL program in Bielefeld
