For 20 years, the EAF Berlin subsidiary has been building a strong network of partners for women in STEM fields.

Female talent is indispensable to business and science. That is why EAF Berlin, in partnership with the Technical University of Berlin, founded Femtec.GmbH in 2001. It serves as the international career platform for women in engineering and the natural sciences.

This year, Femtec turns 20 and is celebrating with a digital summer event live from the library at the Hotel Stadtbad Oderberger Straße. To mark the 20th anniversary, EAF Chair and Deputy Chair of the Femtec Supervisory Board, Helga Lukoschat, will deliver the keynote address.

The celebration will take place on Friday, September 10, starting at 5 p.m. and will be broadcast live on YouTube. You can join via this link to watch live or catch up on the event later.

Background information on Femtec:

Femtec attracts young women to STEM professions, qualifies excellent talent starting in school, and offers ambitious students outstanding career prospects through its Career-Building scholarship. The program is complemented by career counseling for professionals and customized diversity program development for organizations. These women, along with renowned technology companies, leading scientific institutions, and technical universities, together form the successful Femtec network.
