Jessica Gedamu works as Global Director Diversity and Inclusion for Springer Nature. She develops and implements the global D&I strategy of one of the leading global science, education and trade publishers.

From 2011 to 2017, Jessica Gedamu held various roles at EAF Berlin, most recently as Director with responsibility for organizational development and corporate clients. In this role, she advised and supported large and medium-sized companies in change processes towards more diversity in leadership positions.

Jessica Gedamu is a trained diversity trainer (A World of Diversity®). She has long years of experience working with companies in various industries on D&I-related topics such as unconscious bias, work flexibilization, mentoring, staff recruitment and development, and inclusive leadership.

Jessica Gedamu has lived and worked in Ethiopia, the Netherlands and Germany in different roles. After her international business administration and communication studies in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and a Master’s in International Business, she completed a part-time interdisciplinary Master’s in gender- and diversity-related competence at the Free University of Berlin.
