Dr. Helga Lukoschat is an honorary board member and senior advisor of EAF Berlin. She has extensive experience in advising companies and organizations, in designing and implementing practice-oriented research projects, and in the strategic management of programs and cooperation projects in both business and politics. She has published numerous papers and is frequently requested as an expert, moderator or speaker. One focus of her work is on international projects to promote the political and social participation of women.
Helga Lukoschat is a co-founder of EAF Berlin and was its Managing Director and Chair for many years. From 2001 to 2014, she was also Managing Director of Femtec. GmbH, a co-foundation of EAF Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin. Femtec is an international career platform for women in engineering and natural sciences. She also completed training as a systemic organizational consultant with Riesner & Braun Consulting.
Helga Lukoschat studied German, Political Science and History in Erlangen and Berlin. She then worked as a journalist and publicist, finishing her doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin with a study on women in leadership positions.
Helga Lukoschat holds numerous functions and honorary posts, including serving on the supervisory board of Femtec GmbH, on the board of trustees of Total-Equality and on the advisory board of the #SheTransformsIT initiative. On a personal level, she is involved with Soroptimist International, a worldwide network of professional women with a commitment to socio-political issues.
