Diversity Survey for Companies
Diversity & Inclusion Survey - measure, analyze, improve
Conducting a diversity survey can provide insights into how diverse an organization already is and serves as a key element in the strategic process cycle.

Many organizations have been implementing comprehensive diversity strategies for years and want to know how effective they are. Other organizations are just beginning to develop a diversity strategy and want to incorporate the perspectives of their employees. With diversity surveys, we support research institutes, companies, foundations, political parties, and media houses in developing and strategically embedding data-driven measures, programs, offerings, and strategies related to diversity and equal opportunity. The status quo is empirically verified using scientific standards, identifying issues that have not previously been in focus or that lie "beneath the surface."
Your Benefits

Empirical Survey Methods
We work with numerous empirical survey methods, ranging from standardized quantitative surveys to qualitative interviews and focus group discussions, as well as combined methods. Learn more about our methods here.

Diverse Topics
The existing diversity within the workforce, potential experiences of discrimination among employees, or whether planned measures are accepted. This can include questions assessing satisfaction regarding various aspects such as work-life balance, development opportunities, diversity sensitivity, and equal opportunity. Different groups within the workforce can also be analyzed separately.

Scalable Survey Size
We create both small, compact survey modules (pulse checks) and comprehensive surveys using multi-part methods, surveying the entire workforce or specific target groups such as women, parents, people with disabilities, or those with experiences of racism.
For your planned diversity survey, we offer various methods, survey sizes, and thematic focuses:

EAF Berlin combines extensive knowledge in the field of diversity with expertise in research!
Our research team consists of experienced researchers with specialized methodological training and many years of experience in empirical research. We regularly conduct surveys on diversity, equity, and inclusion, experiences of discrimination, and support for measure development for various clients, including political parties, companies, and media organizations. We focus not only on WHAT we ask, but also HOW we ask it, in order to collect valid and meaningful data. We also know how to sensitively address delicate topics or questions regarding diversity characteristics. As an external service provider, we ensure the highest possible level of anonymity in our surveys, which is not possible to the same extent in an internally conducted survey. This not only increases trust but also motivates more people to participate, often resulting in high response rates. We carry out all projects in compliance with GDPR and in close coordination with our partners' data protection officers. EAF Berlin also has many years of research expertise in the field of women's engagement in politics: You can find our publications.

Diversity surveys can show us where the pain points are: How diverse is the workforce? Do employees experience discrimination? Where is there still room for improvement? Our measures are built on these insights and are individually tailored to your organization.
