Sarah Robinson (she/her) is a Senior Expert for Gender and Politics at EAF Berlin. She is responsible for the EU project 3R: Recognize, Resist, Rise Up , which develops evidence-based measures and strategies to combat gender-based violence against women in politics. In collaboration with partner organizations in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland, and Slovakia, the project actively counters anti-feminist trends.  

In addition, she works in the areas of international cooperation and project acquisition, contributing her human rights-centered expertise with a focus on the intersection of diversity and political participation. In the summer of 2025, she co-authored the brochure with Leonie Schütte-Silverio titled "More Space for Diversity – How to Succeed in Local Political Participation".

Previously, in the project Action Program Municipality – Women into Politics! , which concluded at the end of 2024, she supported a total of 20 model regions in sustainably increasing the proportion of women in local politics and encouraging the removal of structural barriers.

Sarah Robinson is OSCE/ODIHR-certified for gender audits and action plans in political parties and contributed to the toolkit for gender-sensitive parliaments from the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE). She provides advice on gender-sensitive political structures and processes based on international standards.

Her previous professional experience includes positions at the German Bundestag, the EIGE in Lithuania, and the UN Human Rights Office (OHCHR) in Belgium. From 2021 to 2023, she served as Deputy Chair of the Board (pro bono) for Humanity in Action Germany
