Career Hurdles or Career Boosters?

Children and a career can complement each other perfectly, and both companies and mothers can benefit from one another. This is what the findings of this study by EAF Berlin demonstrate.
The demands could hardly be more different: at the office, there is an important business dinner to attend, while at home, the little ones are waiting for a bedtime story. Between meetings and the playground, women in Germany often perform an exhausting balancing act. Prejudices against working mothers and a lack of quality childcare do not make the situation any easier.
My career and my family complement each other wonderfully. In the corporate world, you often live in your own bubble with specific goals and requirements, and I truly enjoy having a private world to balance that out.
