
Dr. Simone Rajilić
Senior Expert
Dr. Simone Rajilić is a Senior Expert at EAF, where she advises organizations on diversity and equal opportunity. As a trainer, she leads workshops and gives presentations on unconscious bias and discrimination-sensitive language. She also helps implement mentoring and career-building programs for EAF in the business and academic sectors.
Simone Rajilić studied Slavic studies and political science in Frankfurt am Main, Zadar, Berlin, and Potsdam, and has worked as a researcher in linguistics, cultural studies, and gender studies. Her research has focused on the relationship between language and discrimination, and she has published work on topics including feminist linguistic practices. In 2019, she earned her doctorate in Slavic languages from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin with a linguistic thesis on the conceptualization of femininity.
From 2020 to 2023, she directed two mentoring projects for children and young people in Berlin-Neukölln, working to ensure equal educational opportunities regardless of social background.
Her work is centered on an intersectional perspective on discrimination. In addition to gender research, her areas of expertise in diversity include classism and racism.
