Mothers have enough on their plates – and then get into politics on top of that? Yes! But not alone. That’s why Cécile Weidhofer and Sarah Zöllner are bringing politically active and/or interested mothers together for digital lunches.

The format thrives on the energy, experience, and expertise of the group. Participants bring their own topics, questions, challenges, or successes – or simply listen in.

Whether it’s the juggling act between meetings, daycare pickups, and care work, a lack of understanding from colleagues, or frustrating council meetings – or even the good feeling of being able to make a difference and highlighting the valuable perspectives of mothers in politics. Everything has a place here: what’s going well, what’s exhausting, what’s encouraging, or even what’s frustrating.

Cécile Weidhofer (EAF Berlin) and Sarah Zöllner (journalist & author) moderate the exchange, providing space to talk, listen, laugh, vent, and empower – while documenting best practices that can be useful for everyone. Together, we create a safe space where experiences are shared and new ideas for better structures are developed.
