DGM Online Seminar: Marketing for Mentoring Programs

Karin Heinzl, founder and CEO of MentorMe, will share how she scaled a mentoring program from 40 to thousands of mentees and mentors in this online seminar hosted by the largest mentoring community in the DACH region. Her presentation will focus on marketing.
Topics she will cover include:
- What are the first steps in developing a marketing strategy?
- How can you build reach, even with a small budget?
- What are the marketing "must-haves" for mentoring programs?
- What are the current trends that effectively support mentoring programs?
Karin Heinzl founded the social enterprise MentorMe on her own and without any prior business experience. Previously, she studied communication in Vienna and political management in Washington D.C., and worked internationally in education, politics, and development aid. MentorMe launched with 40 mentees in 2015. Today, MentorMe includes 4,500 mentors and well over 1,000 mentees per year. MentorMe hosts well over 220 events and training sessions annually for its community of mentees, mentors, and corporate partners. Partners include DKB, Ernst & Young, ING, Aktion Mensch, OTTO, and KPMG. In addition, MentorMe has organized mentoring projects in the Netherlands and East Africa.
