German Mentoring Association: "Herzauge" Reading

Sometimes it’s the small sparks that open up new perspectives. A sentence in a conversation, the title of a book, or an encounter with someone.
Sarah Sorhagen, board member of the German Mentoring Association (DGM), received such a spark this year while reading the book HERZAUGE by Lina Maria Pietras. The author is a mentor in the FemPowerMentoring (FPM) program, in which Sarah Sorhagen is also active.
The chapter on inner boundaries left a lasting impression, particularly regarding how to shape an authentic mentoring process. This spark led to the idea for a book reading followed by a panel discussion.
Together with Lina Maria Pietras, author of HERZAUGE, and Rebecca Brendle-Behnisch (also a mentor at FPM), we will explore how personal boundaries can be recognized, strengthened, and used as an inner compass for a fulfilling mentoring experience.
Following a short reading by Rebecca Brendle-Behnisch (as Lina Maria Pietras is visually impaired), Lina Maria Pietras and Sarah Sorhagen will delve deeper into the topic. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and engage in dialogue afterward.
