The HWK invites you to "Connect women - change politics!"

With the proportion of women in many local councils declining, especially following the election results of June 9, 2024, networking among democratic women is more urgent than ever. Non-partisan women's networks at the local level are an essential step toward strengthening women's political participation and securing their presence in political bodies.

But how do you build these networks? What support do female officeholders need to pursue their goals effectively? What should be prioritized when establishing such networks? And above all: what positive changes can non-partisan women's networks achieve locally?

These and other questions will be discussed in depth during our online event. We will begin with a keynote by author and former State Councilor Ulrike Hiller, followed by an examination of the work and challenges of selected non-partisan women's networks.
