Children and Careers: The New Couples
EAF Berlin study on dual-career couples with children
In collaboration with the Bertelsmann Stiftung and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, EAF Berlin has conducted the most comprehensive study to date on dual-career couples with children in Germany.
The research focused on how these couples successfully balance their careers with raising children, the strategies they have developed for success, and the obstacles they have encountered.
Based on these findings, recommendations for action were developed for policymakers, companies, and couples.
The study involved interviews with 25 couples in high-level leadership positions, supplemented by an online survey of nearly 1,200 individuals from dual-career households.
