Shaping the future with strong municipalities

At the annual conference of the Young Mayors Network on June 15 and 16, 2023, EAF Director Cécile Weidhofer will discuss the topic of role models for local engagement.

The first day kicks off with a networking evening for young mayors and young members of the Bundestag. The conference will take place on the second day, following the association's general meeting. There will be
keynote speeches and discussions with exciting speakers. In workshops, we want to discuss current issues facing our municipalities. An accompanying trade exhibition will provide inspiration for local work. In addition, there will be space for peer-to-peer exchange. Cécile Weidhofer will participate in the workshop "Role Models for Local Engagement" at 11:15 a.m.

International guests

Mayors from Ukraine and Austria will be welcomed as international guests.

Navigating the crisis with confidence!

In our digital workshop on June 25, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM, as part of the 3R – Recognize, Resist, Rise Up project, we will develop strategies to help women in politics maintain their agency during times of crisis.
