Local politics thrives on the commitment of many, yet for those balancing family, career, and caregiving responsibilities, it often presents a unique challenge. How can we achieve true work-life balance so that political participation doesn't become overwhelming?

Cécile Weidhofer, Director at EAF Berlin and co-editor of the book "Zu anders für die Macht?", explores how to better balance family, career, and local political volunteering. She will present best-practice examples and invite discussion on structural changes, as well as the strategies and opportunities women with caregiving responsibilities can use to get involved in politics.

Following the presentation and discussion, participants will have the opportunity to talk, network, and wind down the evening with light refreshments.
