"Together Against Sexism" expert conference
International bestselling author ("Identitti") and journalist Mithu M. Sanyal will deliver the keynote address, examining sexism from an intersectional perspective. The conference will also feature information on good practices for combating sexism and sexual harassment from various European countries.
Workshops will provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion and exchange on specific focus areas. The following topics will be addressed:
- Counseling centers for sexual harassment and violence,
- Support through male allyship, and
- Measures against sexism in the workplace, in public spaces, and in the cultural and media sectors

Sexism is widespread in our society. It demeans people based on their gender and is something we encounter every day in many areas of life. The "Together Against Sexism" alliance, funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and implemented by the EAF Berlin in collaboration with the ministry, is determined to take a stand against it. The goal is to recognize sexism and sexual harassment, address them openly, and establish effective measures to combat them.
