Democracy and equality in the workplace - challenges and options for action
In times of social and economic crisis, simple, populist answers to complex future challenges are gaining influence. This also affects the workplace, where democratic values such as collaborative partnership, a non-discriminatory work culture and gender equality are increasingly being called into question. Achievements in women's and equality policy from recent decades, which were shaped by social partners, are under pressure both within companies and in society as a whole.
How can companies, unions, and civil society work together to develop strategies to defend and further advance these democratic and equality-related achievements? What challenges do workplace stakeholders face, and what potential solutions exist?
Our 90-minute online information session is open to company representatives (SMEs and large corporations), unions, civil society, equality officers, and anyone else interested. We look forward to your participation and an engaging discussion!
