The key topics of sexism in the workplace and in public spaces will be addressed and discussed through expert presentations and workshops. In her keynote, author and co-founder of the magazine "Neue Narrative," Lena Marbacher, will speak on the topic: "Democracy needs good work! – Why is sexism a problem in this context?"

Numerous local partners are making it possible to offer workshops during the action day for active participation by all. These sessions will provide time for self-reflection, information for employers on what to consider regarding sexism, insights into the work of the criminal police and women's shelters, as well as practical exercises for dealing with and combating sexism on an individual level.

Learn more about the "Together Against Sexism" alliance

Sexism is widespread in our society. It demeans people based on their gender. We encounter it every day in many areas of life. The "Together Against Sexism" alliance, funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) and implemented by EAF Berlin in collaboration with the ministry, is determined to take a stand against it. The goal is to recognize sexism and sexual harassment, address them, and establish effective measures to combat them.
