Tannaz Falaknaz focuses primarily on gender equality policy, participation, and the promotion of civic engagement and democracy. Her areas of expertise include internal party strategies for recruiting women for local politics. In this capacity, she is also active as a mentor.

Most recently, she worked on projects for the Helene Weber-Kolleg, where she led a local political empowerment program for female students and a mentoring program for women with a migration background.

Supported by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, she studied German philology, journalism and communication studies, as well as social and economic communication.

She is involved with the Berlin-based startup JoinPolitics as a fellow.
