
Lisa Hanstein
Senior Expert
Lisa Hanstein is a diversity trainer and organizational consultant at EAF Berlin, specializing in unconscious bias, discrimination-sensitive organizational culture, gender mainstreaming, and inclusive leadership.
She supports organizations in business, academia, public administration, and civil society with matters concerning diversity, equality, and fair collaboration. A key focus of her work is the intersection of diversity and digitalization, as well as the impact of AI and algorithmic bias on organizations and teamwork. In this context, she explores topics such as diversity-sensitive AI usage, the potential of AI to foster diversity, discrimination-sensitive team and leadership culture in tech teams, and how digital products and technologies can be designed to be more inclusive.
She is currently supporting the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg as part of an EU project to further develop gender mainstreaming in administration and budget management.
With a background in business informatics (DHBW Mannheim) as well as social and cultural anthropology & applied computer science (FU Berlin), she combines technical expertise with perspectives from social and organizational science. She is also a trained diversity trainer and systemic organizational consultant. Prior to joining EAF Berlin, she worked for several years as a software developer and consultant at SAP, managing projects in both corporate and public sector environments.
