Call for nominations for the "Mentor of the Year 2026" award

For the ninth time, the German Mentoring Association (DGM) is honoring exceptionally dedicated mentors with the "Mentor of the Year" award. Nominations are now open.

Who has demonstrated consistent commitment as a mentor and shown exceptional dedication to their mentees? Who deserves to be recognized as a role model? You can now nominate these outstanding mentors for the "Mentor of the Year" award. Nominations are being accepted effective immediately. Any individual or organization may submit a nomination. Each person or organization is limited to two submissions.

The DGM board will select this year's winners from the submitted nominations. In addition to consistent engagement as a mentor, selection criteria include a commitment to diversity within the framework of structured mentoring programs that meet DGM quality standards.

The award ceremony will take place during the DGM virtual annual conference on September 24, 2026.
