Jessica Gedamu serves as Global Director of Diversity and Inclusion at Springer Nature. She develops and implements the global D&I strategy for this leading international publisher in science, education, and professional information.

From 2011 to 2017, Jessica Gedamu held various roles at EAF Berlin, most recently as Director responsible for organizational development and corporate clients. In this capacity, she advised and supported large and medium-sized companies through change processes aimed at increasing diversity in leadership positions.

Jessica Gedamu is a trained diversity trainer (A World of Difference®). She has many years of experience working with companies across various industries on D&I topics such as unconscious bias, flexible working, mentoring, recruitment and development, and inclusive leadership.

Jessica Gedamu has lived and worked in Ethiopia, the Netherlands, and Germany in a variety of contexts. After completing her studies in international business administration and communications in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and a Master’s in International Business, she earned an interdisciplinary Master’s degree in Gender and Diversity Competence from the Free University of Berlin while working.
