
Betul Yilmaz
Senior Expert
Betul Yilmaz is a Senior Expert in organizational development and training, focusing on project coordination for the ESF project "Democracy, Equality, and Diversity in the Workplace."
She has many years of experience in the fields of migration, diversity, gender, the labor market, and democracy. Prior to her current role, she held various positions at the intersection of politics, academia, and civil society. As a consultant for integration and migration in the German Bundestag, she addressed issues related to integration and migration policy. At the W. Michael Blumenthal Academy of the Jewish Museum Berlin, she worked as a research associate in the academy's migration and diversity programs, where she developed strategies and concepts for transferring research findings into the political and public spheres. At the Stiftung SPI, she worked on gender and labor market issues as well as strengthening democracy, most recently serving as a consultant for organizational development.
She holds a Master's degree in Sociocultural Studies with a focus on migration and ethnicity from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder). She is also a trained systemic organizational developer.
