We are convinced that sustainably effective programs and measures can only be developed and implemented with a good data basis. We therefore regularly carry out survey projects and evaluations in the context of gender and diversity in politics as well as in the areas of science, business and civil society.
Studies on gender and diversity in politics
How can women and diversity be promoted in politics? Our experts conduct studies and analyses on the political participation of women in their diversity at federal, state and municipal level. We work with various qualitative and quantitative research methods. From the data and information obtained, we identify patterns, correlations and relevant trends. These provide indications of how the participation of groups of people who are underrepresented in politics can be increased. From this, we develop recommendations for action for decision-makers in politics, business and society.

Diversity surveys
In addition to empirical research in politics, we also conduct surveys and evaluations on topics relating to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Our clients include research institutes, companies, foundations, political parties and the media. We combine sound methodological expertise with content know-how and collect data in the field of diversity, e.g. in employee surveys. Our clients value our broad knowledge of data protection and the anonymization of sensitive personal data. We are also happy to combine a survey with advice on how the surveys can be embedded in strategic processes, for example in diversity management.

Evaluation of measures and programs
Measuring effectiveness is a key element in assessing whether personnel and organizational development measures have been successful and how they can be further developed. We have extensive experience in evaluating both organization-specific projects, such as mentoring programmes, and projects that have an impact on society as a whole, such as the “Together against sexism” alliance.
The right method is crucial
We select the research design individually according to the research question and objectives. Our empirical method toolbox consists of:
Individual interviews such as in-depth interviews or expert interviews ensure a comprehensive understanding of backgrounds and contexts within the research subject.
Dyads or focus group discussions are suitable for interactive and inspiring exploration within one's own peer group and are used for topics where the exchange between participants is important.
We also work with other methods, such as workshops or ethnographic surveys.
Standardized surveys as online surveys or paper & pencil surveys, which are possible in different scales (e.g. as pulse checks or comprehensive surveys). At the same time, we include existing primary data in our meta-analyses, for example in the context of benchmarks.
The combination of qualitative exploration and quantitative, standardized surveys has many advantages. In this way, a statistical, descriptive survey can be combined with a large number of in-depth interviews on specific aspects for a more precise understanding of contexts and backgrounds. This enables a comprehensive understanding of the research subject.
