Since June 2018, Cécile Weidhofer has been part of the EAF Berlin team and, as a Senior Expert, manages projects for the implementation of gender equality in politics and administration. In the field of politics, her focus is on cross-party work with (future) full-time and voluntary local politicians as well as with municipalities and political parties. Already in 2014 she participated in the project "Democracy Needs Women", which she led from 2015 to 2016. The aim of the project was to promote the local political participation of women in Tunisia through networking, exchange and dialogue promotion. She is currently responsible for the topic "Parity in the Parliaments" for the EAF Berlin and supports the measures of the Helene Weber Kolleg as a consultant, trainer and moderator.

As a cultural scientist Cécile Weidhofer gained many years of experience in intercultural child and adult education. She developed, led and evaluated educational policy projects, wrote concepts for the further development of intercultural education work and successfully networked supporters in local and international alliances. In addition, she gave several lectures on transculturality and culture of remembrance within the framework of teaching activities and her own research projects.

Cécile Weidhofer, born in 1982 in Aix-en-Provence, graduated in 2006 from the Master's program "Intercultural German-French Studies" at the Université de Provence and the University of Tübingen. She studied linguistics in Montpellier and focused on intercultural communication.
